ORIX METRO Leasing and Finance Corporation joins its parent company, Metrobank in caring for the environment.
On July 2, 2011, ORIX METRO joined the 1,500 volunteers at different sites around the country to a nation-wide tree planting activity. This activity is spearheaded by the Metrobank Foundation who tapped all of its subsidiaries for this event.
As a responsible corporate citizen, the company is aware about the environmental concerns posed by carbon emissions from motor vehicles. By tree-planting, ORIX METRO will be part of the global solution of neutralizing the toxic emission.
For 34 years, the company has displayed the key values of moral integrity, passion for excellence, love for work and service, innovation, with unity and cooperation. ORIX METRO employees have again stepped to the challenge of environmental concern and will certainly display the same kind of enthusiasm and concern that they show in their work.
“ORIX METRO is proud to join Metrobank in this endeavor,” says ORIX METRO President Protacio C. Bantayan. “We salute Metrobank for setting the pace in creating a cleaner, safer, and greener environment for future generations.”
The activity planted 15,000 seedlings around different locations in the country.
